The critically revered Tony Award-winning musical staged a ninth performance this week for the faithful. As it happens, Mormon has been holding a daily lottery since its first preview, offering 20 tickets at 32 bucks a shot. From May 10 to June 14, winners and losers alike were placed in another lottery ?some 13,000 entrants, some of whom had tried 20 or 30 times to win tickets.

Among the fortunate in the capacity crowd of more than 1,000 were friends Emma Hartman and Claire Whitehouse, both 18, of Manhattan, who had tried only once. "Claire has really good luck," said Hartman, who had bought the cast recording of Mormon? which in June became the first Broadway cast album to crack the Top 10 on Billboard 200 albums chart since 1969's Hair? but was waiting till after she had seen the show to check it out.

The numerous older attendees included Ellen Weinkrantz, 59, of Brooklyn, who had tried several times. She was drawn "by the reviews, the hype, all that. I follow everything that's going on in theater, and as a theater person, how can you not see this?"

Ed Gedvila, 46, of Tuxedo Park, NY, and daughter Madeline, 12, had more diverse and specific reasons for being there. "We're big fans of comedy musicals," the elder Gedvila said. "We've seen Spamalot, The Addams Family? loved it. And we love SouthPark, too. Trey Parker and Matt Stone are comedy geniuses; anything they touch is going to be worth seeing."

Bobby Lopez, who co-conceived the show and collaborated on its book and score with Parker and Stone, addressed the audience just before the curtain. He thanked everyone and noted that the performance was being taped "for posterity" by the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts.

"So lower your expectations," Lopez said jokingly. "We can't all fulfill each other's fantasies."

The wild applause that preceded his entrance and followed musical numbers suggested that no one was being let down. At intermission, Liz Wilson, 30, who had traveled from Philadelphia, declared the show "hilarious."

Her mother, Barbara Wilson, 60, said she had mixed feelings about the language and the less-than-reverent treatment of "someone else's religion." (She identified herself as Catholic.) "But I have to say, there are great songs, great dancing. It's everything you come to see a musical for."

Brooke Mueller: Out of Rehab, Reportedly Doing Well

According to a friend, Brooke Mueller watched herself on The World According to Paris, hated the person she saw and checked herself into a 45-day outpatient rehab program.

This is interesting news for two reasons:

  1. Someone is actually watching The World According to Paris.
  2. Charlie Sheen's ex might finally be on the road to recovery.

Brooke Mueller on The World According to Paris

Faces such as this and scenes such as this made Brooke Mueller realize: I need help.

This insider tells E! News that Mueller has now completed the program, regularly attends AA meetings and has a sponsor.

"She is out. She is doing amazingly well."

As entertaining as Mueller and Sheen's antics can be, let's all hope this is true. They have a pair of young kids, after all.

Day three of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge?s North American tour brought them to the Maison Dauphine in Quebec City, a center for at-risk youth. Wearing a striking Erdem Moralioglu dress with lace detail and her signature LK Bennett pumps, Catherine took the appropriate steps to come out of her husband?s shadow. She and William listened to stories, play foosball with members of the organization and checked out art projects. Marie Pier, who showed the couple around the center, told People that TRH ?have an aura. There?s a purple light around them?it puts you at ease.? She added, ?They made us feel [that we are] important; forget about everything else going on around.?

Marie-Pier told the magazine. ?[William] told them at one point, ?Don?t ever let people put you down ? because a prince looks up to you.? ?

Kate?s presence was very uplifting to the youths, according to Marie-Pier. She explained, ?People told Kate that she would never be married to William because she wasn?t of royalty, but they fought for their love and are strong. A lot of the youngsters here are told the same thing ? that you?ll never do anything with your life. Peter Andre: Princess knows girls aren't allowed in Daddy's bed

Pete won't let Princess and Junior see him with another woman

Peter Andre | Pictures | Photos | New

Peter Andre doesn't say bad things about Katie Price to his kids

While Peter Andre searches for his ideal woman, he's decided to keep his romances well away from home.

After his painful divorce from Katie Price, 33, Pete dated Elen Rivas, but there was no smooching in front of his kids.

Junior and Princess have never seen Pete in bed with a date.

'It won't happen until I find the woman I'm going to marry,' he tells us.

'I don't want to confuse my kids.

'The other day my cousin Miranda, who helps out with the kids, was making my bed and Princess came in, put her hands on her hips and told her to go out of Daddy's room because girls aren't allowed in there.

'It was very funny.

'My kids have never seen me be intimate with any woman other than their mother.'

Pete, 38, also never criticises his ex in front of their children.

'They'll never hear me saying anything negative about Kate,' he insists.

'If they ask anything, I just talk about something else.'

Management Today's "35 Women Under 35" 2011 List - Spotlight on UK Entrepreneurs

Every year, Management Todaycreates a list of 35 women under 35 who have shown outstanding performance in their industry, promoting the top younf high flyers in the country.

This year, the list belongs to the entrepreneurs. The most striking thing about their 2011 line-up is that half the women on the list have been recognised for their success in start-ups - whether making Lady Gaga's knickers, a children's glasses retailer or a new hedge fund.

Here is their list of heroes under 35:

JO BEHARI 32

Behari started her property maintenance company, Home Jane, which employs only female tradespeople, in 2006. More recently, she co-founded the Goodlife Centre, teaching the lost art of DIY. Behari has also co-presented Channel 4 show Make, Do and Mend. She won business of the year at the Thames Gateway Awards 2009.

SHAZIA AWAN 28

The market for stretchy, body-shaping underwear may be tightly packed, but Awan knew she could do it better. Since launching her Peachy Pink range in 2009. turnover has rocketed, sometimes doubling or tripling month on month. She now sells to 20 countries. In 2010 she received the female Asian entrepreneur of the year award from Theresa May.

KATE BENTLEY 28, AND HAYLEY MARSDEN 31

Bentley and Marsden collaborated on their first fashion project together - Vintage Hatics, a head-to-toe vintage clothing and stylist service - while holding down full-time day jobs. Multitasker Bentley is a criminal defence lawyer, runs a vintage frock shop with her husband, and is also a consultant for premium skincare and cosmetic range Arbonne. Meanwhile, Marsden is an art textiles teacher, as well as a milliner.

Her headwear is sold in two upmarket boutiques in Liverpool, she has had her hats featured in Vogue and was involved in this year's Comic Relief campaign, alongside Vivienne Westwood. Fans include doyenne designer Zandra Rhodes.

SOPHIE BIRSHAN 33

Cambridge graduate Birshan is director of strategy at Mothercare. Formerly an engagement manager at McKinsey and a policy analyst at No. 10 under Tony Blair, she joined the retailer, which turns over 790m a year, early in 2010. She also runs customer relationship teams for its Early Learning Centre and Gurgle brands.

JANE BURSTON 30

Burston's wizard wheeze, Carbon Retirement, is an attempt to make the knotty challenge of carbon offsetting more effective, by buying up carbon credits to remove them from the EU trading scheme. Fans include Richard Ellis, head of CSR at Boots, and Joseph Romm, environmental adviser to Bill Clinton when he was president.

JULIE DIEM LE 34

Le was an eye surgeon before she began her business, Zoobug, producing safe sunglasses for children in 2006. The idea came to her when she couldn't find a pair of shades for her niece which were both safe and (crucially) cool. The company has come a long way since then: Le's glasses are now distributed in more than 21 countries and she is busy working on a line of Olympics-themed eyewear in time for 2012.

ANNA BANCE 30

Every girl knows the problem of finding the perfect frock. But with her business, Girl Meets Dress, Bance, formerly a PR manager at fashion house Temperley who once dressed Kate Winslet and Natalie Imbruglia, has found the solution. Instead of spending hard-earned cash on designer gear, rent it for a fraction of the price. Since the company was launched in 2009, it has gained legions of fans - not least style bible Vogue, which called it 'the answer to all your prayers'.

KATE HERSOV 30

New Zealand-born paediatrician Hersov founded Medikidz with Dr Kim Chilman-Blair in 2009. Their aim? To educate children about a wide range of medical conditions, from ADHD to scoliosis. Since its launch, presided over by Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Medikidz has published 40 themed comic book titles, distributed one million copies worldwide, grown to a staff of 25 and counts corporate giants including Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer and GE Healthcare among its partners.

AIMEE DI MARCO 32

With degrees from Cambridge University and Guy's, King's and St Thomas' School of Medicine, Di Marco is a specialist registrar in general surgery at Imperial College and is on the leading edge of robotic surgery. Di Marco received the best clinical care award at St Mary's & Imperial College in 2009. She is also medical officer for All Stars Boxing Gym.

ROSALIND CAMPION 31

After training as a commercial lawyer, Campion decided she'd prefer to work in the civil service. She is now head of the newly established Office of the Sentencing Council. She lists a spell at SOCA and a stint in Syria as a human rights lawyer on her CV. In her current role she'll be leading the drive for more consistent sentencing in the UK.

NATALIE DUNN 26

As senior advertising manager for Sainsbury's, Dunn controls a significant chunk of a marketing budget which runs into tens of millions, and is responsible for managing the relationship with Jamie Oliver. The Lancaster University graduate has worked her way up through the ranks at Sainsbury's - she started on the check-outs, aged 16.

KATHRINA FITZGERALD 32

A former investment banker at JP Morgan, where she spent seven years in the corporate finance team, FitzGerald began working for media conglomerate DMGT in 2007 and was promoted to group director of strategy development in 2009. A competitor through and through, she also takes part in triathlons, windsurfing and horse-riding.

HAYLEY GAIT-GOLDING 31

Gilmartin is responsible for a team of 250, which supports eBay Europe's 50 million European buyers and 500,000 registered businesses. In her spare time, the mother of two is also a keen marathon runner.

Fans include Kylie Minogue, Lady Gaga and Cheryl Cole.

CAROLINA GONZALEZ-BUNSTER 28

After quitting Goldman Sachs during the financial crisis, Gonzalez-Bunster set up the Walkabout Foundation. She has supporters in high places: her 35 Under 35 entry included a recommendation from Bill Clinton.

ANNMARIE HARRIS 33

Australian-born Harris was a founder of Nude skincare. Despite offering fewer than 20 products, Nude generates $2m to $4m in revenues annually, retails in 200 locations in the UK, US and Australia and was sold to LVMH early this year. Pumfrey is also a keen athlete, competing in half-marathons and triathlons.

EMMA WOOLLCOTT, 32

A media lawyer at Mishcon de Reya, privacy is Woollcott's speciality - so it's no surprise that she's acting for some of the claimants in the phone hacking saga. Delta made sure to attend Nick?s latest performance in Century City, California and showed her sultry support. Its too bad the gap in age is complicating things.

?The legal drinking age in the US is 21, so the couple will have to wait over two years before they can legally go out for an alcoholic beverage together,? said a source from Daily Mail.

Greg Wilcox: Valley group ready for CEQA reform fight

It's a battle of acronyms: The Valley's VICA vs. the state's CEQA.

It may end up being quite a tussle between the Valley Industry and Commerce Association and the California Environmental Quality Act, which sets strict guidelines for mitigating the environmental impacts of development and other projects.

But VICA President Stuart Waldman sensed a change in the political wind earlier this year when he and some members traveled to Sacramento for a meeting with Gov. Jerry Brown's staff.

"One of the first things they said was that the governor was serious about CEQA reform and they wanted ideas," Waldman said. "We didn't really think that we would actually have the opportunity for real CEQA reform because it is kind of like the Holy Grail."

The group came up with a list of about 20 ideas, then narrowed it to eight, which were released last week.

"Since its passage, the business community has been working for reasonable CEQA reform," VICA Chairman Daymond Rice said in a statement. "The eight ideas VICA has introduced will take significant steps to keep CEQA from hurting the state's economic recovery."

The top recommendation is to simplify the approval process for projects that are "deemed necessary for economic revival and sustained economic health."

VICA also

recommends granting expedited processing to projects designed to comply with existing environmental regulations and ensuring that once a project is approved that it is subject only to the laws in effect at that time.

Other suggestions address to how handle challenges made to a project's environmental impact statement.

"We're asking for what we feel are extremely reasonable changes," Waldman said.

The Governor's Office did not respond to request for comment.

Michael Endicott, an advocate for Sierra Club California, said that the group is OK with tweaking the environmental act but is leery of what the business community calls reforms.

"Most of the things we've seen so far that have floated up ... have not really been reforms but removal of environmental protections," Endicott said. "They are just looking to not have to comply with environmental laws."

The business and environmental communities have been waging annual skirmishes since the law was passed in 1970.

And one problem with CEQA is that it's dense - the 2011 version runs 399 pages.

Endicott said that heft reflects changes made to the law over the years.

But it also has spawned some pretty dense documents, too. Waldman says the environmental impact report for Universal Studios' expansion ran 49,000 pages.

"There are people who spent their entire careers working on that document," he said.

Prince William & Kate Middleton Face Protests in Montreal

Having flown into the second stop on their North American tour earlier in the day, Prince William and Kate Middleton got down to business after touching flown at Montreal Airport on Saturday (July 2).

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge immediately headed over to the Sainte-Justine University Hospital - where they were greeted by both fans and protestors, some of which held up signs with nasty messages such as "Royal Parasites! Go Home!".

Explaining the anti-monarchy sentiments, one of the protestors told local press, ?We think it?s a useless institution that has no place today. We are capable of governing ourselves without people who have the title of king by divine right. The idea that God made them king is a philosophy of the Middle Ages.?

As for their hospital visit, William and Kate toured the treatment center, with Miss Middleton lovingly sitting down to spend time with patients in the children's cancer ward.

Once finished up at Sainte-Justine, the royal newlyweds were escorted to board the MCS Montreal to meet a handful of naval officers before finally bringing an end to what was another long day.

Is Chord Overstreet Really Leaving Glee?

Gleeks may have seen the last of Sam Evans.

While Darren Criss and Harry Shum Jr.,(who play Blaine and Mike on Glee, respectively) will reportedly be upgraded to full-time series regulars this fall, Chord Overstreet will not be returning.

Say it ain't so, right?

MORE: The Latest Glee Hairdo Do-Over: Chord Overstreet

Sorry, we can't.

At this time, Fox has not picked up Overstreet's option to return as a series regular, though the door will be left open for him to appear occasionally as a guest, sources tell Deadline.com. The network did not immediately return E! News' request for comment, but the heartthrobby actor-singer himself shed some light on the situation:

"Well its been a good yr too bad its over, time for summer and starting fresh," he tweeted Friday.

Meanwhile, that's not the only New Direction Glee may be taking soon.

News of Overstreet's ousting comes on the heels of Ryan Murphy's recent announcement to Ryan Seacrest that many of the musical show's main characters will graduate by the end of season three (which could mean no more Rachel, Finn and Quinn, to name just a few).

But all is intact for now, at least. The heart of the cast, including Overstreet, is currently on tour in Ireland.

Amber Rose loses deal after nude scandal

Amber Rose was distraught after nude photos leaked online, though she knew it would happen.

Amber Rose was distraught after nude photos leaked online, though she knew it would happen.

Amber Rose's nude photo scandal has caused her to spend the last few days in tears.

The model was distraught after someone she "trusted" leaked explicit pictures of her online ? even though she knew the intimate snapshots might one day be shared with the masses.

The X-rated photos, which show Rose fully-nude and touching herself, were used in a MediaTakeOut.com story earlier this week that claimed she had sexted the images to Nicki Minaj's boyfriend.

Both Rose, 28, and Minaj, 26, denied the report was true. The singer remains happily dating her boyfriend, Safaree Samuels, while Rose is still in a relationship with rapper Wiz Khalifa.

THE MOST INFAMOUS CELEBRITY SEX SCANDALS IN HOLLYWOOD

But even a false story can cause significant damage.

"The company that I was working with no longer wants to work with me because of these pics and that prevents me from getting money to take care of my family," Rose complained on Twitter Wednesday.

Rose, who later clarified that she wasn't dropped by her modeling agency, explained that the pictures were more than two years old and had been "just sitting in my computer."

"I trusted someone that worked 4 me & allowed them to use my laptop a million times," the beauty said. "I caught this person sending my pics to themselves and I fired this person immediately."

And Rose admitted she knew the pictures, unfortunately, would eventually make their way onto the web.

"Wiz & I & both of our families have known about this for 2 months now," she said. "We tried to prepare ourselves for this day."

As it turned out, nothing could prepare Rose for the pain she's felt since the leak actually happened on Tuesday.

"I'm really hurt & embarrassed because I have so many young girls that look up to me," she tweeted.

"I know I'm not the only girl in the world that has taken pics like that but they were very private," Rose said. "I'm sorry for letting my young Rosebuds down."

Minaj expressed surprise, however, that anyone believed the story was legitimate in the first place.

"I don't address dumb sh-t," she tweeted Thursday, adding, "I always assume intelligent ppl understand these 'stories' are 4 entertainment purposes only. But clearly [not]."

Minaj, who warned that "KARMA is a b-tch" and "every lie u print will come back to you & your children in one way or the other," explained why she felt compelled to speak out about this rumor when she's often the victim of so many other false stories.

"4 da record, only reason I addressed this is b/c its costing some1 their job," she said.

And though Rose wrote that she "cried for the past 2 days," she said she knows ? eventually ? this too "shall pass."

Is 'Glee' Expelling Chord Overstreet?

Last year, 'Glee' creator and head writer Ryan Murphy brought new characters to the forefront, but not all of them will remain stars at McKinley High.

Chord Overstreet (Sam on 'Glee'), who joined the show for season 2, is not returning to the series as a regular this fall, according to Deadline.com.

At the same time, breakout guest star Darren Criss (who plays Kurt's boyfriend, and Warblers' frontman, Blaine) has earned a promotion, and will be upgraded in the show's credits for season 3, joining the regular cast. Harry Shum, Jr., who plays the dancing love interest of Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), will also become a regular.

Overstreet, 22, tweeted on Friday, "Well its been a good yr too bad its over, time for summer and starting fresh."

The Nashville native hasn't been kicked off the show entirely: his contract will reportedly allow for guest appearances in future episodes.

The 'Glee' tour is wrapping up after weeks of live shows around the country. Fans who missed the concert can see the New Directions kids, including Overstreet, in a movie about the tour when 'Glee Live! 3D!' opens on the big screen Aug. 12.

Murphy recently confirmed that most, if not all, the student characters on 'Glee' will soon move on with their lives, with many original cast members "graduating" in May 2012. He told TVLine, "Do we really want to have an eight-year [high school] senior? The only way somebody could stay on the show is if they flunk, and that is always a possibility. I think Brittany is pulling straight Fs."

Check out Chord Overstreet in one of his more memorable moments on 'Glee,' singing "Lucky" with Dianna Agron (Quinn):

Free towing this weekend for revelers too drunk to drive

For the 15th year in a row, the Automobile Club of Southern California will offer free towing during the Fourth of July weekend in an attempt to keep drunken drivers off the road, beginning Saturday.

The Tipsy Tow program will be available to intoxicated drivers beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday and continuing until 11:59 p.m. Monday in the 13 counties served by the Auto Club.

Motorists, bartenders, restaurant managers, party hosts or passengers of a drinking driver can call 800-400-4AAA for a free tow to the driver's residence of up to seven miles away. Callers should tell operators they want a Tipsy Tow, and a tow truck under contract to the Auto Club will be dispatched.

The service does not include rides for passengers and is restricted to a one-way, one-time ride for the driver. For distances longer than seven miles, drivers will be expected to pay the normal rate charged by the tow truck operator.

"Drivers should be aware of the high crash risk from drinking and driving associated with holidays and we encourage them not to get behind the wheel if they've been drinking," according to Auto Club senior researcher Steve Bloch.

A first-time drunken driving conviction can cost $12,176 or more in fines, penalties, restitution, legal fees and increased insurance costs, according to the Auto Club.

The Auto Club suggested:

  • designating a non-drinking driver who can get everyone home safely
  • calling a friend or family member for a ride home if you have been drinking
  • keeping a taxi company number in your wallet so you can call for a ride home
  • as a party host, offering non-alcoholic drinks and provide a gift to guests who volunteer to be designated drivers
  • taking keys away from friends and relatives who have had too much to drink

Camelot Canceled After One Season!

camelot-canceled-after-one-season

Lame!

Despite its status as the networks' highest rated new series ever, Starz's Camelot has been canceled after one, ten-episode season!

The show, which starred Jamie Campbell Bower, Joseph Fiennes, and Eva Green's apparently started out with strong numbers, but they later dropped significantly.

Such a shame! We thought people really were enjoying this one!

Luckily, all of those actors have pretty decent careers, so at least we're confident they'll find other projects soon!

Best of luck, guys!

Ryan Reynolds blasts competitive actors

Ryan Reynolds finds competitive actors "toxic".

The 'Green Lantern' star doesn't believe a movie set can work well if the cast can't get along and spend too much time trying to do better than one another.

He said: "It's toxic on a set when you're competitive with other actors. Whenever I've worked with another actor who's been competitive, usually nine times out of ten it's backfired on them - they've had a really unsatisfying experience. A film is so collaborative. It's the sum of its parts."

One person Ryan does enjoy working with is Sandra Bullock, and he would love the chance to reunite with his 'Proposal' co-star in future.

He said: "My producing partner is incredibly close with Sandra - we all met up about 10 years ago and we've been good friends since. I never thought we'd do a film together but it worked out.

"Movies like that are so contingent on that chemistry - it's a rare thing if you get it, so if I was going to do another romantic comedy I would hope it would be with Ms. Bullock."

Heidi Klum: You're Never Too Old for Topless Tanning

'Project Runway' creator and supermodel mogul Heidi Klum has no reason to be shy about her bangin' body at age 38 and she tells PopEater that she thinks women should feel proud to wear a bikini -- or even less -- at any age.

"I love tanning my body and I don't love tan lines necessarily. I don't think too much about what other people think or if they think this woman is too old to wear just a bikini or a bikini bottom. I come from Europe so I'm not American," Klum told us at Wednesday night's event for her cover of the biggest issue of Hamptons magazine ever at STK in NYC. "It is very different here than it is German or Italy. I grew up with men wearing Speedos on the beach and topless women on the beach at any age."

Klum, who has a new line of sneakers with New Balance, has been running four miles a day and blogging about it on her new AOL site. Heidi recently went running with soon to be married Kim Kardashian but the pair didn't chat much about Kim's upcoming nups.

"I don't think she needs any advice. She's so smart and sexy and she knows exactly what she wants," Klum said. Will she be invited to the big day?

"I don't know," she laughed. "We'll see."

Klum was similarly tight-lipped about the upcoming season of Project Runway (where Kardashian is guest judging!) but she did tell us things will be pretty fierce.

"There are some bloody knees and fainting," Klum confessed.
